Event Description

On October 24 TckTckTck partner 350.org's International Day of Climate Action was a massive success! Because of the leadership and creativity of people from almost every country on earth, together we organized over 5,200 actions in 181 countries to show the world we are ready for a bold climate deal! Oct 24 was not only the world's biggest climate action, it was also the most widely distributed political movement in history.

Together, just like on September 21, we showed our world, our leaders, and our selves just how big, beautiful, and unified the climate movement really is. Thousands of events were locally organized, in almost every country around the world all with one simple message that we need to reduce carbon dioxide concentrations to a maximum of 350 parts per million. It was an inspirational and beautiful day!

But it's not time to sit back, we're just getting started here. World leaders need to continue to feel the heat as we fast approach the December Copenhagen climate summit. We hope to see you at our next event on Dec 12: Sign a Real Deal, where we'll need global grassroots movements more than ever.
