Climate Insider
Despite the failure in Copenhagen, the global climate movement is forging ahead. Climate Insider is a simple online community for facilitating connections and rapid response around global climate change content, actions, and movement building. It is private, by application only, and is focused on sharing information and helping each other succeed.
Our aim is to help us:
- collaborate, share campaign ideas, and support each others’ work
- know about new stories before they are launched; watch them go big
- pile on each others’ work to make it more popular, and get more eyeballs for our own work
- support rapid response emergency communications from Copenhagen and other global climate change events
This is different from the many other great lists out there. Our focus is very tight and our target audience is:
- digital / social media campaigners from TckTckTck partners – especially the national offices so we can all have direct connections to each others’ work
- digital campaigners at other climate oriented orgs, non-TckTckTck affiliated
- bloggers who are progressive and active in the climate space
- traditional media following the climate issue, and climate insiders who are friendly to a positive outcome

Forward. Help us recruit other digital climate campaigners – inside your own organization, are partners, or allies.
Share. The quality of the community will only be as good as what we ask for help on, and help others with.
Discern. There will be many busy people on this list. Please keep posts related to global actions that will be of interest to a diverse global audience. This is not a list to promote each org’s many inside niche or local only campaigns. Treat our attention with respect. Fewer posts of high quality actions are strongly encouraged.
