Fresh Air Center

The Fresh Air Center is TckTckTck's effort to coordinate the messages of our many global partners and spread them through digital media.
At the Copenhagen climate summit we ran a highly successful digital media hub that served over 500 bloggers and digital campaigners from around the world. In 2010 our efforts are focused on aligning the messaging of our partners around key elements of our climate campaign, ensuring important stories get told, and deepening our relationships with independent bloggers and other media channels.
2010 Online Fresh Air Center
In June, 2010 we will launch an online version of our Fresh Air Center for the UNFCCC negotiations in Bonn, Germany and the G8/G20 meetings in Canada. During these mobilizations we'll provide on-the-ground insights, breaking news and fresh perspectives from bloggers and online campaigners around the world.
Check out our virtual Fresh Air Center and participate by joining our Climate Insider rapid response list.
We are also currently developing our plans for how the Fresh Air Center can support the movement during this December's upcoming Cancun climate talks, which, while significantly less important and well attended than Copenhagen, still marks the next time the world's attention will be on a climate deal. Stay tuned for more.
2009 Copenhagen Fresh Air Center
At the COP-15 climate summit In Copenhagen the Fresh Air Center consisted of two spaces, an inside space behind the security perimeter, and a larger, more open space that took over a bar in downtown Copenhagen. The space was extremely successful and well used, and became a critical hub for hundreds of digital campaigners, bloggers, and independent media to connect, share stories and content, be briefed on the daily happenings of the talks, and collaborate on joint messaging to ensure key stories were told.
