Our favourite climate videos this week

• March 16, 2012

Every Friday we select our favourite videos from the climate movement to feature on TckTckTck.

Let us know what you think of our choices in the comments section below. We would love to hear your suggestions for next week! Send them to us on Twitter at @tcktcktck or post them to our Facebook wall.

#1: Rio+Social

On June 19 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio+Social promises to be one of the most important gatherings of technology, social media and global leaders in the history of South America. This global conversation will focus on topics related to #SocialGood and how new media can help foster positive solutions to the world’s biggest problems, like climate change.

#2: Join the Fight! A message from Bill McKibben

In this video, author, educator & climate activist with our partner 350.org, Bill McKibben shares a message about the fight to stop the Keystone XL pipeline project and the plan for the months ahead. The next big fight: taking on the billions in subsidies that the fossil fuel industry makes.

#3: #SaveTheArctic

This video was made by a volunteer group in Norway to bring attention to the impacts of climate change and arctic drilling, and to urge people to join Greenpeace’s campaign to #SaveTheArctic.
