A Date with History
From 20-22 June 2012, World Leaders will meet at the United Nations Rio+20 Conference on Sustainable Development, otherwise known as the Earth Summit, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Twenty years ago the original Earth Summit in Rio set out key principles for governments to work together on measures ensuring sustainable development, including economic, social and environmental aims.
Now, with a growing population and diminishing resources we urgently need to make sure governments at Rio+20 agree to bold actions to assure a sustainable future for everyone – and you can make a difference.

What is the Future You Want?
Now is your chance to describe a bold vision for the Earth. If you are between the ages of 13-30 we want to hear from you! You are part of the generation that will grow to see a very different world from the one we now live in. The question is — will it be a world where resources like food, water and energy are scarce? Or will it be a world with clean air, clean water, affordable resources, and abundant jobs? Tell us your vision.
