Global humanitarian forum closes

The Global Humanitarian Forum (GHF), a partner organization of the Global Campaign for Climate Action (GCCA), has confirmed that it is no longer operational.
GHF was experiencing financial difficulties and took the difficult decision to wrap up its work at the end of March.
The Forum, which was founded by Kofi Annan, originated the tcktcktck logo which it commissioned for its own “Time for Climate Justice” campaign and then made available to the GCCA, its partners and others.
TckTckTck became the rallying device for the wider climate campaign in the run up to Copenhagen last year and was used by tens of thousands of groups and individuals to show world leaders a united front in the demands for climate action.
GCCA used the device to spearhead its open source campaign in 2009 and it continues to appear across the website.
“We are sorry to hear of the closure of the Global Humanitarian Forum,” said Kelly Rigg, Executive Director of the GCCA, “but the campaign for climate justice is unstoppable.”
